Thandazani's (Elijah) main passion is to see youth come to know Christ and to reach their full potential by using sport as a vehicle for change. He worked with youth in KwaNyuswa for two years whilst completing his law degree from 2011-2012, managing three soccer teams and teaching youth group. Upon completion of his LLB qualification at the end of 2012, he worked full-time with the Isaiah House in 2013 and 2014 as Head of Youth Ministry and Sports Development. He currently works in the field of corporate social investment, as well as interning under the Head of Development at the Amazulu football club. He has started the, the Fisher's Net, which is a long-term vision to use all types of sport to develop youth holistically and enable them to know Jesus and their purpose in life. He is currently also an elder and youth pastor working with  Grace-Love-Truth Ministries.
